#Vlog: Susanne Cooks ... Baked Gnocchi

"Basically you can make everything into a casserole and that's amazing"

On day #22 of the Austrian lockdown, I sat down to cook something simple but delicious: baked gnocchi. Easy to make and only takes about 20 minutes.


  • 0,5kg Gnocchi 
  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes 
  • 1 onion 
  • 2 pieces of garlic
  • Parmesan  
  • mediterran herbs
  • seasoning

STEP 1: 

Chop the onion and garlic. Then sweat in a pan, and add the seasoning as well as the herbs. When ready, add the tomatoes. Towards the end, add a bit of Parmesan cheese. 

STEP 2: 

Sweat the gnocchi in butter in a different pan. 

STEP 3: 

Pour the gnocchi into a casserole form, then the sauce above. Add more Parmesan cheese to the top. Put into the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
